If you are very ambitious you should use the watt max test to test yourself.  If  you don't have access to an ergometer bicycle you could use the 12 min run test . If you don't want to push yourself to the max, you could choose between the Danish step test or the Aastrand test .

Then you could start on a mixed fitness program and track your improvements with the RM-calculator and estimate you cardio exercise intensity with the exercise calculators.

HealthDo you want to test your general health?
If you are a man you could check your mortality risk . Also you should calculate your BMI and test your general fitness level.
